Ateet Shrivastava: Iga Swiatek has dealt with all the challenges in brilliant fashion so far, and it’s only getting tougher from here on. She is in the Wimbledon quarterfinals for the second time in her career and will be motivated to advance further for the first time. Liudmila Samsonova, on the other hand, will play in a Grand Slam quarterfinal for the first time. She has been in great form and has the tennis to upset anyone on her day. This will be a battle, and I expect Swiatek to use her experience and play better in clutch time. Prediction: Swiatek in 3

Manan Mehta: Swiatek is using the slice once again with great profitability. She has never been past the quarterfinals stage and this will be a golden opportunity for her. Samsonova has great power behind her shots but it will be tough to create angles consistently against the counterpunching of Swiatek. The former World no. 1 seems to have found her mojo back. Jordan Reynolds: Players with Samsonova’s powerful style have been Swiatek’s weakness in the past. Yet, the Pole expertly handled Danielle Collins and Clara Tauson’s big-hitting games in the previous two rounds. Damian Kust: This grass season is different for Swiatek as after she wasn’t able to dominate the clay like she previously did, she finally had enough mental and physical energy to play a proper warm-up and get her grass game ready. Seems like it’s worked out beautifully so far as she’s into her second Wimbledon quarterfinal. Samsonova’s a difficult opponent on quicker courts with the big serve and how flat she can play. But she’s also quite predictable and if Swiatek can serve like she did against Tauson, she’d be taking a big asset away from the Russian. Prediction: Swiatek in 2

Yesh Ginsburg: Swiatek looks in tremendous form right now. The Pole has finally adjusted to lower expectations and is playing with a freedom and confidence we haven’t seen from her before (aside from at Roland Garros). I’m not sure who can stop her, but I doubt it’s Samsonova. Prediction: Swiatek in 2

This is perhaps the most anticipated matchup of the women’s quarterfinals, featuring the incredible teenage sensation Mirra Andreeva against the experienced Olympic gold medalist, Belinda Bencic. Andreeva has been on a sensational run, defying expectations and showing remarkable mental fortitude. Bencic, a fan favorite and a strong contender, will need to bring her A-game. Manan Mehta: Andreeva has developed her mental game in recent times and that is so visible at Wimbledon this year. She is not losing her serve regularly and is maintaining a composed body language, which explains why she hasn’t lost a single set so far. There has almost been a revival in Bencic’s form, and it seems her injury problems are far gone which is a great sign for her. However, she has had long battles and that might come in the way if the match goes on for long. Prediction: Andreeva in 3

Jordan Reynolds: Andreeva has been the most impressive woman so far at Wimbledon. I expect Bencic to make the match more competitive than Emma Navarro did because of her more powerful serve and aggression from the baseline. But I do not think it will be enough to prevent the teenager from winning again. Prediction: Andreeva in 2

Damian Kust: At least away from the US Open, Bencic was known to underperform at the Majors. But she’s finally into her first Slam quarterfinal outside New York and her style fits the grass well with how low she can get down to the ball to redirect it. Andreeva’s a bit of a different challenge than a typical power-hitter and it’s tough to say who this intriguing matchup will suit more. The Russian has had an easy path to the quarters so far, but she’s versatile enough that she’s the favorite to adjust to facing adversity for the first time in the event. Prediction: Andreeva in 3

Yesh Ginsburg: I thought Emma Navarro was going to win this tournament with her mix of aggression and variety. And then Andreeva just crushed her. Bencic might be able to make better adjustments than Navarro did, but with the way Andreeva is playing that probably won’t even matter. Prediction: Andreeva in 2
